The U.S. State Department praised Kazakhstan's human rights reforms, highlighting significant progress in the country's efforts to improve its human rights record.

During the meeting, the American side reaffirmed its strong support for the political reform and democratic transformation program of Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. In particular, U. Zeya welcomed the President's decree on human rights and the rule of law, as well as the action plan for its implementation.

The parties constructively discussed the key aspects of cooperation within the framework of the High-Level Dialogue on Human Rights and Democratic Reforms. Achievements in combating domestic violence, tackling human trafficking, and promoting an inclusive society were highlighted separately.

Additionally, they noted the successful launch of the dialogue on the rights of persons with disabilities following last year's "C5+1" summit at the heads of state level.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their commitment to further strengthening fruitful and reliable cooperation based on mutual interests and shared values.
