Water tariffs will change in the Zhambyl region.

According to the order from the Department of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies in the Zhambyl Region, starting from January 1, 2025, a medium supply tariff of 111.27 tenge excluding VAT per 1 m³ will be introduced, reflecting a 2.18% increase compared to the current tariff. However, a differentiated tariff will now apply in the region for individuals: consumers will be divided into 4 groups based on their water consumption levels.

The first group will pay the least. This category includes individuals with water meters whose monthly water consumption does not exceed 3 m³ per person. They will be charged 78.75 tenge per cubic meter, which is the current price paid by all individuals.

The second group includes those with consumption ranging from 3 to 5 m³ per person — their tariff will be 94.5 tenge.

The third group consists of citizens whose consumption falls within 5-10 m³ per person. For them, the price per cubic meter will be 118.13 tenge.

Individuals consuming more than 10 m³ per person will pay double the price for each cubic meter — 157.5 tenge.

Individuals without water meters will incur even higher costs — 159.01 tenge per cubic meter of water.

To avoid misunderstandings and unjustified charges, consumers are advised to contact the subscriber department to verify the number of registered individuals at their place of residence.
