Kazakhstan residents can apply for gas connection via the eGov Mobile app.

Kazakhstan residents can apply for gas connection via the eGov Mobile app.

The service can be utilized by the property owner. To do so, the user must complete all mandatory fields in the form displayed in the application and confirm the information regarding the registered rights to the property.

To obtain the service, the user needs to:

  • log into the eGov Mobile application and navigate to the “Services” section - “Real Estate and Housing Utilities” - “Issuance of technical conditions for connection to gas distribution networks”;
  • specify the type of object and select the property for connection;
  • attach the technical passport of the object;
  • indicate the type of technical condition, the reason for connecting to gas supply systems, and the gas consumption;
  • select and add the type of gas equipment, specify the quantity, and click “Continue”;
  • sign the application using Face ID/Touch ID.

If the application is filled out correctly, the outcome of the service will be the issuance of technical conditions provided by the gas distribution organization - JSC “QazaqGaz Aimaq”, or a reasoned refusal.

According to the current legislation in the area of natural monopolies, a refusal to issue technical conditions is permitted in cases of:

  • the absence of available and accessible capacities, reservoirs, locations, and throughput of the networks of JSC “QazaqGaz Aimaq” necessary for providing the required volume of regulated service;
  • the absence of networks of JSC “QazaqGaz Aimaq” or other property necessary for providing the regulated service.
    The timeframes for providing the service depend on the complexity of the object: for technically simple objects — 5 working days, for complex ones — 10 working days.

The new functionality was implemented in collaboration with the Committee of State Services of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC “National Information Technologies”, the Ministry of Energy, and JSC “QazaqGaz Aimaq”.
