According to her, Kazakhstan is actively expanding international cooperation in the field of broadcasting and television.
Memorandums have been signed with the Main State Administration of Radio and Television of China, the China Media Group, as well as with the Committee on Television and Radio under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. These agreements aim to enhance content exchange and implement joint media projects.
Additionally, the minister noted that the Silk Way channel, which is part of the Kazakh President's Television and Radio Complex, along with the "24kz" channel, has been included in Azerbaijan's cable networks. Cooperation with colleagues from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan is also being strengthened.
Aida Balaeva added that Kazakh media content is expanding its presence on Russian online platforms such as Megogo, ivi, Okko, and KinoPoisk. Domestic series are already available on these platforms, including: “Kelinjan,” “Baseke,” “Karlygash uyasalghanda,” “Kulyash,” “Zauresh,” “Mezgilsiz mahabbat,” “Makhabbatim zhuregimde,” “Ana zhuregi,” and “Surboidakh.”
