A drifting enthusiast was arrested in Almaty (video).

According to the police, a traffic violation was recorded the evening before in the Alatau district of Almaty.

Local law enforcement officials held the offender accountable for petty hooliganism, creating a hazardous situation, and lacking an insurance policy.

As per the court's decision, the 20-year-old offender was sentenced to an administrative arrest for a duration of 5 days . The vehicle has been impounded.

According to Article 434 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (petty hooliganism), using profanity in public places, offensive harassment of individuals, and other similar actions that show disrespect to others, disrupt public order, and disturb the peace of individuals can result in a fine equivalent to twenty monthly calculation indicators or an administrative arrest for a period ranging from five to fifteen days.
