A criminal case has been opened against a 14-year-old teenager in Karaganda.

According to reports from the information media portal of the department, the police received a report about the theft of a heat exchanger from the premises of one of the enterprises in Karaganda.

An unknown individual broke into the workshop through a window and stole a condenser, causing damage amounting to 3 million tenge. The production area was under the supervision of a guard and two dogs.

Police officers apprehended the suspect—a 14-year-old teenager—who confessed to the crime. The material evidence has been seized.

An administrative protocol has been filed against the teenager's parents for failing to fulfill their parental duties in raising their son.

A criminal case has been initiated, and an investigation is currently underway.

It was previously reported that the police in Karaganda solved a major theft of copper parts that occurred nine months ago. Four individuals have been detained, and a criminal case has been opened.
