Kazakhstani tennis players have discovered their new positions in the global rankings.

The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has released a new ranking for both singles and doubles, reports Vesti.kz.

The top two tennis players from Kazakhstan remain in their previous positions in the singles rankings, holding the 6th and 29th spots respectively.

Elena Rybakina Yulia Putintseva

has improved her standing by 23 positions, now ranking 314th.

Zhibek Kulambayeva

has climbed two spots, now sitting at 383rd.

Zarina Diyas

The top Kazakhstani doubles player maintains her 22nd position.

Anna Danilina

Meanwhile, Yulia Putintseva has risen to the 110th spot in the doubles rankings, moving up one position.

Sandugash Kenzhybaeva has dropped significantly, falling 71 places to rank 686th.
