Kazakhstan's top tennis player has unexpectedly claimed the season's number one ranking.

The Kazakhstani tennis player, currently ranked 34th in the world, has become the leader in double faults for the year 2024, according to reports from Vesti.kz "Championat".

Throughout the season, he recorded 316 unforced errors, topping this unfortunate ranking.

In second place is Canadian Denis Shapovalov with 303 double faults, followed by Russian Daniil Medvedev (298) in third. Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov takes the fourth spot (234), while Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime rounds out the top five (224).

Bublik's upcoming event is the final of the UTS exhibition tournament, which will take place from December 6 to 8 in London. The prize pool for the competition will exceed two million dollars, with renowned tennis manager Patrick Mouratoglou among the organizers.
