Kazakhstan's top tennis player has matched Roger Federer's achievement.

The top-ranked junior tennis player in Kazakhstan, aged under 18, has won the prestigious ITF Juniors J500 Orange Bowl tournament in doubles, according to a report from the press service of the Tennis Federation of Kazakhstan.

In the final, the Kazakh player, teaming up with Russian Timofey Deripasko, achieved a hard-fought victory over the Swiss duo of Henri Berne and Denis Petaka with a score of 3:6, 6:1, 10:1.

The Orange Bowl is held annually in Plantation, Florida, USA. This tournament is considered an unofficial world championship for juniors. Matches take place on outdoor courts with a green clay surface. Many future world number ones, including the famous Roger Federer, have won this tournament.

It is worth noting that Omarhanov is a graduate of the Karaganda tennis school. Currently, the 16-year-old player is training at one of the best tennis academies in the Czech Republic.

Additionally, he has seven victories in singles at ITF Juniors tournaments. Previously, the graduate of the Karaganda tennis school has won tournaments in Thailand (J300), Korea (J300), Egypt (J100), Georgia (J60), Karaganda (J60), and Mexico (J500). Notably, he triumphed in the latter competition last December.
