The Kazakhstan national team issued a statement regarding Rybakina following her return.

Captain of the Kazakhstan women's national team, Yuri Shchukin, spoke about the victory over the South Korean team, as reported by Vesti.kz SPORT+.

Recently, Kazakhstan defeated South Korea in Astana and advanced to the qualification for the Billie Jean King Cup.

- I am very glad that we won against the South Korean team. I'm happy that all the girls were able to play. Zarina had a great match after a long break, and I think it will give her confidence. Despite losing the doubles match, the team played well and achieved a positive result, — said Shchukin.

- What was the reason for replacing Elena Rybakina with Yulia Putintseva?

- Initially, we planned for Lena to play. However, she felt discomfort in her foot during the warm-up. Our entire team was ready, so Yulia stepped in; it's the end of the season, and it's not easy to play, but all the girls handled it well.

It’s worth noting that Kazakhstan's success came from the victories of Zarina Diyas, Elena Rybakina, and Yulia Putintseva.

The qualification for the team world championship will take place in April 2025.
