The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has released a new version of the singles and doubles rankings, as reported by Vesti.kz.
The top three in the singles rankings remain unchanged with Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus), Iga Swiatek (Poland), and Coco Gauff (USA).
Regarding Kazakhstani tennis players, Yelena Rybakina is still in sixth place, while Yulia Putintseva is ranked 29th. However, Zarina Diyas has dropped six spots, now sitting at 389th.
The best Kazakhstani doubles player Yelena Rybakina has maintained her 22nd position. Meanwhile, Putintseva has climbed three places in the doubles ranking and is now 108th.
The top three in the doubles remains the same: Katerina Siniakova (Czech Republic), Erin Routliffe (New Zealand), and Gabriela Dabrowski (Canada).
It is worth noting that Rybakina, Diyas, and Putintseva helped the Kazakhstani team defeat South Korea and qualify for the Billie Jean King Cup. "It was for the Olympics," Rybakina said about the victory for the national team, the beautiful uniforms, and the fans.
